图型介面软体常用的有:Scantool, Scanmaster, Proscan, PcmSCAN, Digimoto，也可以使用超级终端机搭配AT指令使用。安装与使用说明：
1、安装光盘或下载的elm327软件。
2、将ODB-Ⅱ电缆与汽车ODB-Ⅱ接口连接。
3、将ODB-Ⅱ电缆与ELM327连接。此时，电源灯（power）会亮，ODB TX/RX灯会闪烁，说明连接正常。
4、将USB连接线把ELM327与电脑连接起来。此时电脑会提示发现新硬件，按照电脑提示好安装光盘内或网络下载的USB驱动程序。进入电脑的“设备管理器”点击端口，你会发现新安装的硬件“USB Serial Port”，记下右边的COM号。（该COM号将在下一步的软件设置中用到）
5、启动ScanTool.net软件。打开程序，选择options（设置）项，选择你在上一步你记下的COM号，然后确定。这样软件安装完成，你就可以诊断你的车辆了。 功能描述： 1.读取通用及汽车制造商特定的诊断故障代码，并显示其定义（软件包含3000多个故障代码） 2.清除故障代码，并关闭发动机（引擎）故障报警指示灯 3.读取发动机即时动态数据流..发动机转速..计算负荷值..冷却液温度..燃油系统状态..车速..短期燃油修正
